Himanshu Arora Opens Up About His Relationship with Diksha Pawar

Himanshu Arora has faced criticism multiple times during his stint on MTV's Splitsvilla 16. Recently, he candidly discussed his relationship with fellow contestant Diksha Pawar and the aftermath of their breakup. Himanshu addressed the social media unfollow incident that led fans to speculate about their relationship dynamics. He expressed that their romance was constantly under scrutiny, with viewers believing it was staged, and their breakup perceived similarly.

Insights on the Instagram Unfollow Incident

In a conversation with Zoom, Himanshu shared his surprise upon discovering that Diksha had unfollowed him on Instagram. He mentioned, "I was unaware that I had been unfollowed until a day or two later. I understood the issues but thought we could resolve them through conversation." He acknowledged that both he and Diksha made mistakes but emphasized that when one partner decides to withdraw, it shouldn't give them unilateral power. He stated, "I also had grievances and could have unfollowed her too. It impacted public perception, and Diksha is aware of that. Throughout the season, she was the only person I connected with. I didn’t focus on anyone else, either inside or outside the show."

Himanshu expressed that being unfollowed publicly hurt him and felt that Diksha should have mentioned some positive aspects of their relationship in her interviews instead of solely highlighting the negatives. He said, "I didn’t get a chance to discuss things with her, and it seems like I was at fault. I believe she could have reached out first. My initial reaction wasn’t to unfollow her; I tried contacting her multiple times, but she didn’t respond. Eventually, I felt let down as a partner and decided to unfollow."

Clarifying Misconceptions About Their Relationship

Himanshu urged fans to reconsider their assumptions, stating, "If Diksha and I had orchestrated our relationship, why would the Ayush situation have unfolded on the first day? We would have appeared as the ideal couple, similar to Yogesh and Akanksha." He clarified that he wasn’t accusing Yogesh and Akanksha of planning their relationship, but noted that anyone could be scrutinized through a biased lens. "Ultimately, some will believe you’re in the wrong, while others will support you. It’s essential to focus on those who stand by you and let go of those who don’t," he concluded.

Splitsvilla 16 – Pyaar Ya Paisa was filmed in Mahabalipuram and airs on MTV India and JioHotstar. The season is hosted by Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra, with Uorfi Javed and Nia Sharma as the 'Mischief Makers.'
