Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has made the PF claim process easier. Now employees can file their claims online sitting at home, which saves both time and effort.

What is EPF and when can you withdraw money?

EPF is a savings scheme, in which a part of the salary of employed people is deposited. This fund can be withdrawn partially as per need or the entire amount can be withdrawn in case of retirement/unemployment.

Requirements for online claim

Some important things have to be ensured before making online claim

  • UAN (Universal Account Number) must be active
  • Must be linked to Aadhaar, bank account and PAN UAN
  • Registered mobile number must be active

How to make online PF claim

  • Login to EPFO ​​portal with UAN and password
  • Go to Online Services and select Claim (Form-31, 19, 10C, 10D)
  • Select the claim form as per your eligibility
  • Verify the claim with OTP received on Aadhaar linked mobile.
  • The claim process will start as soon as you submit

  • Track Claim Status in Online Services
  • Check status by entering reference number
