Anupam Kher's Birthday Celebration

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher recently celebrated his 64th birthday on July 7. Born in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, on July 7, 1955, Anupam shared a poignant memory regarding his father's passing. Surprisingly, he and his brother Raju Kher did not shed tears over their father's death; instead, they chose to celebrate. Their father, Pushkar Nath Kher, passed away on October 10, 2012, while Anupam was en route to Goa for the wedding of director David Dhawan's son. Upon receiving the news, he promptly returned to Mumbai.


Details of the Celebration


Following his father's death, Anupam released a statement explaining the reason behind the celebration. He expressed, 'We do not mourn our father's passing because he lived a full life and departed this world on his own terms. He experienced immense joy during his lifetime, and we are celebrating his life. I am certain he is making everyone laugh in heaven right now.'


A Colorful Request to Friends


Anupam also urged his friends to wear colorful attire to his father's prayer meeting. He stated, 'As I mentioned, we are celebrating my father's life. Therefore, I request my friends not to wear black or white to express sorrow. Please come dressed in colorful clothes, as my father gave us everything in life.'
