Delhi Govt Scholarship 2025-26: The Delhi Government has invited applications under its scholarship schemes for students belonging to the SC, ST, and OBC categories for the 2025-26 academic session. According to the official notification, interested and eligible students may apply through the e-district portal until April 30, 2026. This initiative has been launched with the objective of providing economically disadvantaged yet meritorious students with the opportunity to pursue higher education.


**Benefits for Students from School to University Level**
The government currently operates five state-funded schemes and several centrally sponsored schemes. Students enrolled in schools, colleges, and universities will be eligible to benefit from these programs. For students in Classes 1 through 12, tuition fees and other mandatory charges will be reimbursed, provided that the family's annual income does not exceed ₹3 lakh and the student fulfills the prescribed attendance and academic criteria.


**Merit Scholarships for Higher Education**
A merit-based scholarship scheme is available for students pursuing professional, technical, and higher education courses. Under this scheme, students will receive financial assistance ranging from ₹8,000 to ₹24,000 per annum. To qualify, students must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the previous academic year. Separate financial assistance amounts have been designated for students residing in hostels and for day scholars.


**Special Awards for Top Performers**
Under the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Topper Award scheme, the top-ranking SC, ST, and OBC students in each subject across various universities will be awarded a sum of ₹25,000. This scheme is designed to encourage and recognize meritorious students.


**Other Schemes and Benefits**
Under the *Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana*, students in Classes 9 and 10 will receive ₹5,000 per annum, while students in Classes 11 and 12 will receive ₹10,000 per annum. Furthermore, students belonging to the SC category will be provided with financial assistance to pursue Master's and Ph.D. degrees abroad, with support available up to a maximum limit of ₹20 lakh.
