Antiques Roadshow star Theo Burrell has tied the knot, marrying her long-term partner Alex in a stunning ceremony.
The antiques specialist, 38, who was diagnosed with a grade four brain tumour in June 2022, revealed she was 'still sleeping off the exhaustion' from the special day, but insisted 'it was worth every second'.
Theo, who has featured on the BBC programme Antiques Roadshow since 2018, posted a photograph of the wedding on Instagram, capturing the newlyweds gazing lovingly into each other's eyes.
Theo looked radiant in a white gown, the upper half adorned with pearls and sequins, complemented by a traditional white veil, while Alex cut a dashing figure in a blue suit paired with a black bow tie.
She captioned the photo: "On 28th March Alex and I celebrated our wedding with our closest family and friends and it was amazing!!", reports Birmingham Live.
"Not only did we have a lot of fun but it feels so nice to be husband and wife after all these years together.
"With special thanks to @siobhanveneruzzo who took our photographs and picked all the most beautiful spots in Edinburgh for us to pose, @laura.studioh who did my make up and made me feel good despite the steroid weight gain and @cannonballrestaurant and @norloft for hosting our meal and drinks.
"I'm still sleeping off the exhaustion and a cold but it was worth every second!
"Next up I have a scan to get through... But we'll deal with that when the time comes."
The TV star, who has been with Alex for 13 years, was quickly flooded with congratulations from fans. One wrote: "Massive congratulations to you both. Looks like a beautiful wedding!"
"Congratulations Theo! What a wonderful picture," a second said, while a third added: "Absolutely wonderful. Congratulations and love to you both."
Theo has been candidly sharing her health journey as she continues to have chemotherapy.
Just before Christmas, she was told her tumour had grown by 3cm and she would need a second operation, which she later revealed had damaged her eyesight.
She later shared her graphic surgery scar with fans to raise awareness.
The Edinburgh-based specialist revealed in June 2022 that she had been diagnosed with "an incurable aggressive" grade 4 brain tumour.
At the time, her son was just a year old, and she had been given two years to live by medics, told that her "tumour will return and kill me".
Theo joined the Antiques Roadshow team in 2018 and has appeared on the programme numerous times. Her specialties include European ceramics, fine furniture and art from 1860.
