The World Snooker Championship enters day six, with the second round getting underway in Sheffield today. The first round is almost entirely complete, with only two matches to be finished to make up the remainder of the last 16. Neil Robertson and Si Jiahui are looking to seal a rarity - all 16 seeds making it through round one. They must first get past Pang Junxu and Hossein Vafaei respectively.
Robertson is facing a fine for an unusual incident in his first session where he prematurely conceded a frame he could have won. While Shaun Murphy returns to the table following a dramatic 10-9 win over Fan Zhengyi, which included the lights on the other unmanned table flickering on when he was mid-stroke. An agitated Murphy erupted post-match and demanded an investigation: "I hope to find out [how it happened] because that should never happen." It has since been confirmed the issue was a technical fault.
