Sudha’s life: a painful story

Mumbai: Sometimes there is a sudden change in life. One wrong decision can lead to a journey from riches to poverty. This is the story of South’s famous actress Sudha (Hema Sudha). This actress, who lived in luxury in her childhood, touched the pinnacle of success in the film industry, but a sign took away all her wealth.

One sign made a millionaire poor

Sudha was born in a prosperous family, where all kinds of facilities were available. He never faced shortage of money in his childhood. But when she was only eight years old, her family faced a financial crisis. Gradually everything was sold and Sudha had to face poverty. Even his mother’s jewelery had to be mortgaged.

After many difficulties, in 1984 Sudha got a chance to work in the Tamil film ‘Oh Mane Mane’, which changed her fortunes. She became a popular actress in South cinema and appeared in over 250 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. At the peak of his career, he earned crores of rupees.

After earning well from films, Sudha decided to open a hotel in Delhi, thinking that this investment would make her stronger. But the hotel business proved to be a loss-making deal for him. In an old interview he had said, ‘I started a hotel in Delhi. There was good profit in the beginning, but one sign destroyed all my money. My bank balance became zero.

One sign wiped out his hard-earned money. She again returned to her previous state. This journey from riches to poverty was so fast that they could not understand. Even the family did not support him during this difficult time. Sudha told that her husband also cheated and other family members also abandoned her. There was a rift in the relationship with the son also. She fell alone. But Sudha did not give up. With his hard work and courage he started the struggle again. Today she is active in South and TV industry and has worked in many serials like ‘Nagin’.
