Digestion of watermelon is a little slow because it contains a lot of water. When other things are eaten immediately after eating it, the digestion process gets affected. Do not eat dairy products

First of all let’s talk about milk and dairy products. One should avoid consuming milk, curd or cheese immediately after eating watermelon. According to Ayurveda, this combination can have an adverse effect on the digestive system and may cause problems like acidity or vomiting.

Apart from this, fried or heavy food should also not be eaten after watermelon. Watermelon is light and rich in water, whereas fried foods take time to digest. Eating both together or at short intervals can cause stomach upset.
