The result of UP Police SI Recruitment 2026 has been released. In the examination conducted for 4543 posts, 12,333 candidates have been declared successful for DV and PST. More than 15.75 lakh candidates had appeared in the examination.

Lucknow. Another example of transparent and time-bound recruitment process has come to light under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh. On Thursday, the result of the written examination for direct recruitment-2025 for Sub Inspector Civil Police and equivalent posts was declared. A total of 15,75,760 candidates had applied in this recruitment process conducted for 4543 posts. With the release of the results, the wait of lakhs of youth has ended.

UP Police SI Result 2026: 12,333 candidates successful for DV and PST

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released the exam result as per the prescribed rules and procedure. This examination was conducted in four shifts on 14 and 15 March 2026. According to the recruitment board, it was mandatory to obtain minimum 35 percent marks in each subject and 50 percent marks overall in the examination. Based on merit and reservation rules, a total of 12,333 candidates have been declared successful for Records Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

Confidence of youth increased due to transparent recruitment process

Yogi government is continuously emphasizing on making the recruitment processes transparent, technically strong and time bound. Due to this policy of the government, the confidence of the youth towards government jobs and recruitment examinations has been strengthened. The Recruitment Board has informed that the process of DV and PST will be conducted in the third week of May 2026. Its detailed information will be released soon on the official website of the board.

Special focus on technology and transparency in recruitment process

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board used technical systems to make the entire recruitment process fair and transparent. The objective of the government is that eligible candidates can get the benefit of the selection process on time without any discrimination and controversy. The state government claims that the confidence of the youth has continuously strengthened due to increased transparency in recruitment processes over the years.
