A major supermarket is offering loyalty members tickets to see the biggest movies this May for just £5 in a new deal. TescoClubcard and Cineworld are teaming up to help customers see the latest blockbusters.

To take advantage of the Clubcard Tickets deal, which started on Monday, May 12, until the end of the month, Clubcard members need to exchange a minimum of 50p in Clubcard vouchers for a Cineworld reward code. After this, they can book up to four discounted tickets on the Cineworld website using that code. This latest deal is in addition to the always-on TescoTuesdays offer, which gives Clubcard Members £5 Cineworld tickets on Tuesdays.

The new offer means that for the remainder of May, Clubcard members can get discounted tickets for themselves and their family on any day of the week.

After May, Clubcard members will still be able to take advantage of the TescoTuesdays deal each Tuesday and exchange their vouchers for double value off the usual Cineworld ticket prices on other days of the week.

Tesco group membership and loyalty director Shama Wilson said: "We ran a similar deal last September and it was so successful that we decided it deserved a sequel.

"So we are delighted to have teamed up with Cineworld once again to offer Clubcard members cut-price screenings for the rest of May.

"From May 12 to 31, this blockbuster deal means you can treat the family to all the latest movies, including The Devil Wears Prada 2 and The Mandalorian and Grogu at a discount, offering the excitement of the big screen for a small Clubcard price."

To take advantage of the offer, Tesco Clubcard members need to exchange a minimum of 50p in Clubcard vouchers via the Tesco app or Clubcard website for a Cineworld reward code and make a booking via the Cineworld site, paying for any value of the ticket not covered by their reward code. The £5 deal is on Cineworld's standard 2D tickets.

Clubcard members can also take advantage of a special drink and popcorn deal at the Cinema, allowing them to purchase a drink and popcorn combo at a discounted price.
