UPSC CSE 2027: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the schedule for the Civil Services Examination 2027. According to the annual examination calendar issued by the Commission, the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination will be conducted on May 23, 2027, while the Civil Services (Main) Examination will commence on August 20, 2027. Along with this, the Commission has also announced the dates for the issuance of the official notification and the application process.



**Notification to be Issued on January 13, 2027**



According to the calendar, the notification for the Civil Services Examination 2027 will be issued on January 13, 2027. Candidates will be able to apply until February 2, 2027. The Preliminary Examination will be a one-day event, and the Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination will also be conducted concurrently through this same examination.



As per the Commission's schedule, following the declaration of the Preliminary Examination results, the Main Examination will be held starting August 20, 2027. This examination will span five days. Candidates who qualify in the Main Examination will be called for a Personality Test—that is, an interview—after which the final results will be declared.
