Dwarf Galaxy And Hubble Telescope: The discussion about the mysterious world of space has once again become heated and this time the reason has been such a picture that even scientists have become thrilled after seeing it. Imagine an entire galaxy 14 million light years away from Earth suddenly being almost obscured by a bright star. One such amazing scene has recently been captured by the Hubble Space Telescope in its camera.

For information, let us tell you that in this picture shared by the European Space Agency (ESA), a nearby star is seen shining so brightly that it has made it difficult to see the huge galaxy PGC 39058 behind it. This picture is not only beautiful but also highlights many interesting aspects of space.

The bright star increased the difficulty of scientists

ESA shared information that it is already challenging for astronomers to study distant galaxies. But in the case of PGC 39058, the situation became more complicated because an extremely bright star came between Earth and this galaxy. In Hubble’s picture, this star is seen spreading so much light that the galaxy is almost lost in its brightness. However, Hubble’s state-of-the-art optics and high-resolution cameras managed to clearly record both celestial objects.

After all, what is PGC 39058?

PGC 39058 is a dwarf galaxy located in the constellation of Draco. It exists about 14 million light years away from Earth and contains millions of stars. In such a situation, scientists believe that many stars in this galaxy may be similar to the bright stars seen in front. But due to its small structure and extreme distance it appears relatively blurry.

Many more galaxies seen in the picture

The most special thing about this photo taken by Hubble is that not only PGC 39058 is visible in it, but many more distant galaxies are also visible in the background. The image was captured with the help of Advanced Camera for Surveys, which used yellow and near-infrared filters.

Interesting story to draco constellation

The constellation of Draco is a huge constellation spread across the sky of the Northern Hemisphere. In ancient Greek mythology it is associated with a 100-headed dragon that guarded the golden apples. This is the reason why this planetarium remains a center of attraction for scientists as well as lovers of history and mythology.
