There is big news for the candidates looking for a government job in the medical field. Recruitment has been issued by NHM Assam for the vacant post of Community Health Officer (CHO). Qualification and Criteria

To apply for CHO posts, the candidate should have obtained 6 6-month Certificate Course in Community Health (under IGNOU) along with GNM / B.Sc Nursing. Along with this, the maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years. Candidates coming from the reserved category have been given relaxation in the upper age as per the rules. Age will be calculated keeping in mind 1 January 2025.

Recruitment Details
Through this recruitment, a total of 100 posts of CHO will be recruited. Out of these, 27 posts are reserved for OBC/MOBC, 10 posts for ST(P), 5 posts for ST(H), 7 posts for SC, 4 posts for PWD, 30 posts for Women, and 2 posts for Ex-Servicemen.
