First step
If your password has been locked due to repeated wrong entry or you have forgotten the password of your IRCTC account, then you can create a new password and book train tickets again.

For this, first of all you have to go to the official website of IRCTC irctc.co.in/nget/train-search

Second step
Now when you have come to the official website, you will see many options here.

In such a situation, you have to click on the 'Login' option here.

After this, you will see that here you will see the option of 'Forgot Password'.

So you have to click on it.

Third step
After this, you will be asked for some information which you have to fill here.

This information asked for includes your IRCTC account ID and other information like date of birth.

Now you will see a captcha code on the screen which you have to enter here.

Fourth step
Now if you see, a link will come on your registered email ID and this link This is the way through which you will be able to create a new password for your IRCTC account.

If you have received the link, you have to click on this link.

After this, you can create a new password for your IRCTC account through this link and book train tickets again.
