In Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, police have busted a murder case and arrested four accused. The main shooter of the massacre turned out to be a YouTuber, who has 20 million subscribers on social media. YouTuber Ankit Kannaujiya had taken a betel nut worth Rs 8 lakh for the murder of Gopal. At present the police have arrested all four accused and sent them to jail. Police is busy searching for those providing illegal arms and cartridges in the district.
In fact, on January 2, Gopal Sharma, a native of Azamgarh, was shot dead in Rashidabad locality of Line Bazar police station area. Gopal used to live in Jaunpur for many years and used to drive the car of a eunuch. After the massacre, the police was searching for unknown miscreants through nearby CCTV footage and surveillance cells.
The main conspirator of the incident, Brijlal Prajapati alias Anshu, had conspired to murder Gopal Sharma. Actually, deceased Gopal Sharma was Soni Kinnar's business partner as well as his driver. After Soni's death, Gopal used to take a share of the income from his business. Brijlal, the business partner of Soni's disciple Sheela Kinnar, found this distasteful. He wanted to remove Gopal from the way for the last one and a half years. For this murder, the conspirator Brijlal had given contract of eight lakh rupees to the shooters.
The conspirator had provided ten thousand rupees cash, twenty eight thousand rupees pistol and six hundred rupees worth of cartridges to the accused. There was a deal to give the remaining money after the murder. Three hired accused were involved in carrying out this murder. Vinod Bind, Pradeep Bind and YouTuber Ankit Kannaujiya went on a bike and shot Gopal Sharma. Due to which he died on the spot itself.
The person who shot at Gopal Sharma turned out to be none other than a YouTuber from Jaunpur. YouTuber Ankit Kannaujiya, resident of Imampur village of Khuthan police station area, has more than two crore followers on social media. After taking contract for murder for Rs 8 lakh, Ankit shot Gopal while going on a bike with Vinod and Pradeep.
To carry out this massacre, pistols worth twenty-eight thousand rupees and cartridges worth six hundred rupees were purchased. After arresting the four accused including the conspirator, Jaunpur police has started searching for those supplying illegal arms and cartridges in the district.
In this regard, Jaunpur SP Dr. Kaustubh said that all four accused including the conspirator of Gopal murder case have been arrested. A bike, the pistol used in the murder, several cartridges and Rs 2,700 in cash have been recovered from the accused. A search is also being conducted to find out from where and by whom the illegal weapons were sold.
