Obnews Automobile Desk: Yamaha has become the first brand to use hybrid technology in its motorcycles in the Indian market. After successfully using this technology in scooters like Fascino and Ray ZR, now Yamaha is going to introduce its FZ-X 150cc motorcycle with hybrid technology. Additionally, new color options will also be made available in the Yamaha FZ-S model. Both these motorcycles will be launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

The magic of hybrid technology in Yamaha FZ-X

Yamaha FZ-X will get Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) feature through hybrid technology, which will provide electric boost to the bike. This technology improves the performance of the bike. It has a 149cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which generates 12.4 hp power and 13.3 Nm torque. Also, it has been provided with start/stop technology, through which the bike can be started without any sound.

Features and expected price of Yamaha FZ-X

With the new updates, Yamaha FZ-X will get a TFT display, which will provide the rider with features like call/notification alerts and music control. Switchgear will also be provided in it, so that all the features of the bike can be controlled easily. Currently the price of this bike ranges from ₹ 1.37 lakh to ₹ 1.41 lakh. The price may increase due to the addition of new features.
