Actress Smriti Khanna recently shared her memorable yet chaotic experience of attending a Coldplay concert, posting a mini vlog titled The Magic of Coldplay on social media. In the candid video, Smriti opened up about how she and her husband Gautam went from casually considering the concert to buying overpriced tickets in black due to social media-induced FOMO.
Smriti admitted, “We’re not Coldplay’s biggest fans, but Instagram gave us such FOMO that we bought these passes, paying double or even triple the normal amount.” She humorously recalled asking the seller, “I hope this is not a scam,” before making the purchase.

The journey to the concert venue was no less eventful. After a three-hour drive, they realized they were almost late as the gates were about to close. Leaving their car behind, Smriti and Gautam ran to make it just in time. Smriti confessed, “Honestly, when I entered, I thought maybe we made a big mistake. But when the show began, it was truly out of this world—an experience I never imagined.”

One sweet highlight of the evening was Gautam picking Smriti up on his shoulders so she could have a clear view of the performance, making the night even more special for the couple.

The Coldplay concert attracted numerous celebrities as well. While Sumona Chakravarti attended the concert in Dubai, Drashti Dhami enjoyed the show in Mumbai with her close friends.
