Taking to her Instagram Stories on Friday night, the former model, 46, was set to go under the knife again for a few "tweaks".

Ahead of surgery, she said: "From my last surgery, there are just a few little bits that I want tweaking.

"Well, they need tweaking. So here I am getting ready. That's the worst bit for me, the needle. The needle's done so now I can relax."

Katie revealed she had to wait a few hours for blood test results before the procedure, saying she planned to get some sleep in the meantime.

She later returned to her Instagram Stories dressed in a hospital gown to say: "Just to inform you all, I'm now going down for my operation. Nice and calm."

Katie had previously flown to Turkey for her £10,000 facelift and breast reduction in August.

It comes after she shared a health update with fans after revealing she has undergone checks on her lungs.

The on-screen star said she was concerned vaping had affected her lungs and also wanted to err on the side of caution following her mother's idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis diagnosis.

Katie posted an update on Snapchat on Thursday (23 January) and told her followers: "Obviously I had them checked because my mum had a lung transplant, and to see if it's genetic and to see if vaping has affected my lungs or anything like that.

"But my lungs are absolutely perfect, nothing wrong with them, and he gave me advice how to get off the vapes."
