A one-of-its-kind young adult web series, Gamerlog , set against the backdrop of the esports world, was officially announced at Amazon MX Player ’s StreamNext event in India last evening. The series promises to explore the highs and lows of competitive gaming, shedding light on the struggles, ambitions, and personal journeys of its characters.
Gamerlog stars Darsheel Safary , who is best known for his role in Taare Zameen Par , alongside Anjali Sivaraman . The series is helmed by director Arya Deo and produced by Abhinay Deo and Neeta Shah under the banner of RDP Pulp Fiction Entertainment.
Reflecting on his OTT debut , Darsheel Safary expressed his excitement and nervousness, saying, “As a huge gaming fan myself, I'm thrilled to be making my OTT debut with Gamerlog, and I must admit, I'm both nervous and excited! What really drew me in was how the show goes beyond just gaming—it dives into the personal dynamics between these incredibly real, relatable characters. This role is a departure from anything I've done before, and I'm eager to see how the audience responds.”
