Ghaziabad Cylinder Blast: A fierce fire broke out in a truck filled with gas cylinder on Saturday morning in Ghaziabad, adjacent to Delhi. After the fire, many cylinders were blasted. The sound of the blast was heard several kilometers away. Due to which panic spread in the area. As soon as the information of the incident was received, many vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot and started trying to extinguish the fire.
It is being told that the accident took place near Bhopura Chowk in Ghaziabad on Saturday morning. Where a truck filled with gas cylinder suddenly caught fire. After the fire, there was a blast in cylinders. The sound of the cylinder blasts was heard 2-3 kilometers away. Due to which people from the surrounding areas came in panic.
Fire brigade staff reached the spot and started efforts to extinguish the fire. But the fire could not be controlled for a long time. Because due to the blasts in cylinders, the fire brigade employees could not muster the courage to reach the truck and kept trying to extinguish the fire from water canon from far away. The blasts were so fast that the people of the area were badly scared. According to the police, about one hundred and fifty cylinders were filled in the truck.
It is being told that a house and a warehouse have been damaged by the fire explosion in the cylinder. Local councilor Om Pal Bhati said that the accident took place between around 3 to 3:30 AM. There have been no casualties in the accident, the police department and the fire department overcame the fire on time. However, people came into panic due to the blasts in cylinders and came out of their homes.
Local people said that when we reached there around four and a half, many cylinders were flying in the air. A fire broke out in a wooden warehouse due to fire and a house also caught fire. But no one died in the accident.
