Keira Knightley will portray Lo in the upcoming Netflix film adaption of The Woman in Cabin 10. Post Pirates of the Caribbean, audiences will get to witness the movie star in between the seas once more with Knightley’s announcement to join the squad.
According to the book’s plot, Lo, a travel writer, has the chance to take a few days off and cruise the ocean. The writer had a fantastic time while the waters are quiet at first, but the waves soon shift.
Lo went on to take “desperate attempts to convey that something (or someone) has gone terribly, terribly wrong.”
Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Gitte Witt, Art Malik, Daniel Ings, David Morrissey, Christopher Rygh, Paul Kaye, Kaya Scodelario, Lisa Loven Kongsli, John Macmillan, Pippa Bennett-Warner, and Ayọ̀ Owóyẹmi-Peters are among the other cast members of The Woman in Cabin 10.
Simon Stone, who is renowned for his work on the 2015 film The Daughter and the 2021 picture The Dig, will be directing the movie.
Increasing the thrill, Ware, the writer, posted on Instagram, “Nobody told me that one of the hardest things about being a writer would be KEEPING AMAZING SECRETS. Yes, THE Keira Knightley.” She continued that the production process is “truly a dream come true.”
Ware added, “Knowing that a group of such incredibly talented people are spending so much time and creativity on a world that once existed only inside my head—that’s a compliment I probably will never get over.”
The cast finished filming in November 2024, but the release date has not yet been disclosed.
