Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the limit of Kisan Credit Card has been increased to Rs 5 lakh. This simply means that farmers will now be able to get an additional loan of Rs 2 lakh on credit cards.



SC/ST category: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made a big announcement for SC/ST (tribal and scheduled caste) along with backward classes. A term loan of Rs 2 crore has been announced for those who are stepping into entrepreneurship for the first time.



Women category: A big announcement has also been made in the budget for women starting a venture for the first time. These women will also be given a loan of up to Rs 2 crore. This scheme has been brought for the empowerment of women. Women entrepreneurs will be able to take advantage of this scheme and can take a loan of up to Rs 2 crore.



MSME Sector: The MSME sector has also been taken care of in Budget 2025. MSME credit guarantee cover will be increased from Rs 5 crore to Rs 10 crore. That is, these cardholders will get a limit of Rs 10 crore to expand their business.
