On February 6, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) opened registration for undergraduate (UG) and graduate (PG) courses for the CUSAT Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT) 2025. Applicants who wish to take the test can apply at admissions.cusat.ac.in, the official CUSAT website. Applications for the exam must be submitted by March 10th.


Additionally, the Ph.D., PDF, MBA, M.Tech, and Certificate/Diploma programs, as well as international candidates, will all have registration periods starting on February 6 and ending on May 31, 2025.


Important dates:



  • Registration Start Date: February 6, 2025


  • UG & PG Application Deadline: March 10, 2025


  • Ph.D., PDF, MBA, M.Tech, Certificate/Diploma & International Candidates Registration Deadline: May 31, 2025


  • CUSAT CAT 2025 Exam Dates: May 10, 11, and 12, 2025



Eligibility criteria:



  • Candidates must have completed physics, chemistry and mathematics in Class 12 in order to apply for the BTech programs.


  • A minimum of 55% of the total score, with at least 50% in mathematics, is needed for Kerala SEBC applicants.


  • Other applicants must have earned at least 60% of their total points, with 60% of those points coming from mathematics.


  • Applicants must be at least 25 years old.



Application fees:



  • General Candidates: ₹1500 (for up to 2 test codes)


  • Kerala SC (KSC) & Kerala ST (KST) Candidates: ₹700 (for up to 2 test codes)


  • Additional Test Code Fee:

    - General Candidates: ₹500 per additional test code

    - KSC/KST Candidates: ₹250 per additional test code

  • Go to admissions.cusat.ac.in, the official CUSAT website.


  • The "CUSAT CAT 2025" link on the homepage should be clicked.


  • Candidates must finish the registration process on a new page that appears.


  • Once you have registered, sign in to your account.


  • The application form should be completed and the application cost paid.


  • After selecting "Submit," the confirmation page will be downloaded.


  • Take a print out of the confirmation page for future reference.
