Free treatment is available in 61 private hospitals in Delhi

According to the High Court Bed Free Inspection Committee, there is a provision of free treatment to patients in 61 private hospitals in the capital Delhi. The reason behind this will surprise you. Actually, these 61 hospitals in Delhi are built on government land. In such a situation, the Supreme Court order is that these hospitals will have to do 10 percent IPD, 25 percent OPD absolutely free. On 15 November 2002, the Delhi High Court also said in one of its orders that these hospitals will have to provide treatment for financially tight people for free.
