PM Internship Scheme: Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme (PMIS) is an initiative of the Government of India, under which the youth will be given an opportunity for paid internships in 500 big companies of the country.

PM Internship Scheme: The application process for the second round of Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme (PMIS) has started once again. Under this, more than 1 lakh youth in more than 730 districts of the country will be given an opportunity for internships in big companies. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has given this information in a press release.

Youth of these ages will get a chance.

Under this scheme of the government, those youth between the age of 21 to 24 years will be given a chance, who are not in any full-time academic program or job. Through this scheme, the youth get a great opportunity to start their career. This scheme was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Union Budget 2024-25. The government's objective behind starting this scheme is to give a direction to the career of unemployed youth and give them the right employment opportunity. More than 1 crore youth across the country will get the benefit of this government scheme. An estimated Rs 800 crore is being spent for this pilot project.

How to apply?

To apply for the scheme, first go to the website pminternship.mca.gov.in and create your profile. After this, apply for internship in companies of different sectors. For this you can apply till March 12, 2025. Under this scheme, candidates can apply for three internship programs.

You will get this much money every month

Under the scheme, there will be an opportunity for internship for 12 months and during this time Rs 5,000 will also be given every month. Not only this, after the internship is over, a lump sum of Rs 6,000 will also be given. The internship will start from December 2. Interns will also get the benefit of insurance coverage

Under this scheme of the government, interns will get insurance coverage under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. Apart from this, separate accident insurance coverage will also be provided by the company.
