In the allegations made by wife Ranjana Jha, Udit Narayan violated her rights and also kept 18 lakh rupees of her land in Nepal. He married Udit Narayan in 1984. The singer later refused to accept him as his wife. Due to this dispute, in 2022, he filed a case in the court demanding maintenance and property money.
