Ronnie O'Sullivan and his ex-fiancee Laila Rouass have reportedly put their £2million house up for sale. The couple ended their relationship last year.

Seven-time world champion , 49, moved out of the property while Laila, 53, has been living at the five-bedroom home with their dog in recent weeks, with friends helping her look after the house and garden.

The luxury pad in Chigwell, Essex, is located in a quiet town near the Epping Forest district. It has now been listed for sale with there being no hope of reconciliation between the snooker legend and actress, after both of them agreed to move on.

A source told : "Their friends had been hoping they would get back together as they had split before and reunited. But they have decided today to sell their home and that really does signal a definitive end to their relationship.

"They looked good together wherever they went and had many happy times in that house. But it's all over now and they both recognise that."

Their mansion is located in the suburbs of London, having allowed O'Sullivan and Rouass to merge city life with the peace and quiet of country living. Images of its interior show a large open-plan kitchen and living room, a huge garden with plenty of greenery, spacious bedrooms and a drawing room.

Their home appears to have a monochrome feel with parquet flooring, cream and beige coloured furniture, and white walls. The kitchen has a large black kitchen island for meal preparation, with white cabinets and a number of integrated appliances in close proximity.

A long dining room table occupies the living room space, where there is also an L-shaped sofa. Paintings can be seen hanging either side of the flat-screen TV, while O'Sullivan's favourite portrait of Raquel Welch on a crucifix adorns the wall of a staircase. The drawing room has black wallpaper and smaller white sofas, with another TV, a fireplace, huge chandelier and smart cream carpeting.

However, a notable absence from the home is a snooker table, which the sporting icon's friends have revealed he could never persuade Laila to install. O'Sullivan, who has been staying in a nearby bachelor pad on his own until the pair sell their home, has managed to get himself a table there.

Laila and O'Sullivan met in 2012 when she had a viewing at his home, and his father showed her around the property. He later got in touch with her through the estate agent to ask her out and they became engaged the following year.

Their engagement lasted for more than 10 years but they briefly separated, before rekindling their relationship in 2022. Rouass revealed they had finally called it a day by confirming their permanent split on Instagram late last year.

She captioned a post: "Break ups can strip you down to your essence. I got through mine by using pain as fuel to take control because no matter what, we will lose parts of ourselves in relationships.

"It's normal, don't beat yourself up. One thing I'm conscious of not doing is trying to get back to what I was.

"No, I'm discovering who l've become. I've gone through various emotions...hurt, pain, anger but what I've realised about anger is that it's bottomless. It can go on and on and once you're in that black hole...it's very hard to drag yourself back out.

"Anyone going through a break up...I want to tell you that you will come out the other side. I have and I feel so much better, stronger and sexier. I'm looking back at my last relationship with a smile and wave."
