New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Monday, March 17, during her visit to India. As a symbolic gesture, he presented her with a vase containing holy water from the sacred Ganga River, collected during the recently concluded Maha Kumbh.

The Maha Kumbh, which ended on February 26 in Prayagraj, witnessed an unprecedented gathering of reportedly over 660 million devotees, making it the largest human congregation in history.

Gabbard, who is on a two-and-a-half-day visit to India as part of a larger multinational tour, discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation with Indian officials during her trip. Her visit comes at a time of growing strategic ties between India and the United States in intelligence sharing and security collaboration.
