Actress Sobhita Dhulipala has found herself at the center of online trolling, when social media users accused her of 'copying' actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu's outfits in a recent Vogue shoot. The claim came to light after the same dress worn by both actresses, after which NeTizance estimated that Sobhita has rebuilt the look of his actor-husband Naga Chaitanya's ex-wife Samantha.
Reacting to Sobhita's post, a user commented, “You have also copied Samantha's dress.”
Another commented, “Same dress in Samantha's February 16 post.”
One Instagram user wrote, “He has copied the same outfit”, while the other commented, “Shameless, shame.”
After intensive examination, it turned out that both outfits are not the same.
Sobhita's Misty Fall Slip Outfit Akhl is a transparent, fringe high-loving dress from the SS25 collection. It has a transparent forged choli in a soft and neutral shade. Complex fringe details cascading with upper choli, and pastels from silver infection in pink and blue.
On the other hand, Samantha first wore the dress while attending an event in February 2025. Her dress designed by Ekta Singh was from the brand Moonre.
This dress is a structured choli and a supernatural, a flowing, ombre fringe dress with a dynamic skirt. It has a smooth white sleeveless top, with a draped or slightly odd design. A contrasting green waistband definitions the silhouette and breaks the infection.
At first glance, the dress looks almost identical, making it estimated that Sobhita was imitating Samantha. However, when looking closely, the difference between design details and fabric becomes obvious.
Despite having an outfit of two different designers, social media trolls began to target Sobhita, alleging that she was trying to mimic Samantha's style. Some people also associated it with his relationship with Naga Chaitanya, who was earlier married to Samantha.
However, fashion enthusiasts and eagle-igne fans, indicating the difference between the two dress, clarified that the equality was completely coincidental.
