The match ended in dramatic fashion as Brazil clinched a 2-1 win thanks to a last-gasp goal from Real Madrid sensation Vinicius Junior in the 99th minute. Earlier, Liverpool's Luis Diaz had cancelled out Barcelona forward Raphinha's opener for Brazil.

Post-match, Brazil's team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar provided an update on Alisson's condition to CNN Brazil: "Becker suffered a trauma to the head region, he was replaced by a suspected concussion. Now we will do all the CBF protocol, it will undergo recommended imaging tests, a computed tomography, then a resonance with diffusion.

"If all the tests are normal, we'll follow up and do a cognitive test. And then we will evaluate the player. In the possibility that everything is normal, we will make a sequence of observations in the coming days. Today, we will do the tests, all the necessary evaluations.

"Alisson is normal, with no complaints. He reported no fainting and no memory loss. He thought it was a little slower. In this complaint, the recommended is the replacement of the player."

Alisson wasn't the only Liverpool player to cause concern. Ibrahima Konate was taken off at half-time during France's Nations League match against Croatia due to an injury, as reported by his national team's official account.

In another blow, midfielder Ryan Gravenberch had to pull out from the Netherlands squad due to what Liverpool termed a 'fitness issue'.
