Getting better treatment is the right of every citizen of the country. But many times people are deprived of better health services due to financial constraints, in view of this, the Government of India started the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

Under this scheme, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is provided by the government. But many times hospitals refuse to treat beneficiaries with Ayushman card.

Let us tell you that there are many diseases which are not treated under Ayushman card. Today we are going to tell you about those diseases, which it is best if you know before going to the hospital.

If you have any such disease for which hospitalization is not required and its treatment can be done in OPD only, then you will not get insurance coverage for it.

Apart from this, if you go for treatment in the OPD of a private hospital covered under Ayushman Yojana, then you will have to pay its bill too.

Suppose that before getting admitted to the hospital, you got some necessary tests done on the advice of the doctor and even after being discharged from the hospital, there is expenditure on medicines, etc., then it will be covered under Ayushman Yojana. But the expenses incurred just for getting the test done without getting admitted to the hospital, you will not get covered for it.

For more information, you can find out this from home. For this, you have to go to the official website of the scheme https://pmjay.gov.in/ and click on Health Benefits Packages from the Menu. Here you will get information about diseases.
