Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has rescheduled the Sub-Engineer (Civil) exam to fill 690 vacant positions, and it will now be held online on May 13 and 14. The exam was originally planned for March 9 but was postponed for some reason.


In post on X (formerly Twitter), the BMC mentioned, "BMC is conducting a process to fill 690 vacant posts in the engineering category through direct recruitment." The BMC has requested all concerned candidates to take note of this update.

Earlier on March 4, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced the postponement of the online examination for the Sub-Engineer (Civil) position. The exam, which was originally scheduled for March 9, has been rescheduled, and BMC indicated that it is expected to take place within the next 15 days. Candidates are advised to stay updated for the announcement of the new date for the online examination.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had earlier announced the schedule for online examinations to fill 690 vacant engineering cadre posts through direct recruitment on its official website. Among these, the online examination for the Sub-Engineer (Civil) post, scheduled for 9th March 2025, has been postponed. The examination is expected to be conducted within approximately 15 days. Once the revised date is finalized, it will be published on the BMC's official website and in newspapers. Candidates are requested to take note of this update."
