After this, the victim's mother lodged a complaint against the unknown person regarding rape. After an investigation up to four in the case, the accused brother has been arrested and sent to jail.

In April 2021, the police station Kotwali area was reported to be pregnant after the 14 -year -old mentally weak and crippled girl raped. The police immediately registered a case under the rape and Poxo Act against the unknown accused in the case. The victim's mother told in the FIR that her husband and he used to go out of the house every day to work and go to the goat grazing another 11 -year -old son. The victim lived alone at home. The police was engaged in the investigation of the case for the last four years. During this time more than 50 persons were questioned and DNA test of more than a dozen persons was done. Apart from brother, there is no man left who has come in contact with the victim.
